I've been in a 17 month relationship and just now concluding my partner suffers from bi polar. It's resulted in breaking up many times and saddens me that we didn't recognize what was happening until our final blow up. How can I restore a relationship with someone who has this or is it best to move on?

I'm in the same situation although I knew he had a dx of bi polar when I got into it, I just didn't understand what that would mean to me, until it was too late. I have the same question, but right now I'm just riding it out.
